Immigrant Rights Project

Through a partnership with Maxwell Street Legal Clinic, KEJC helps provide legal assistance to low-income clients, mainly in the areas of immigration and employment law. Immigration cases include:
  • Petitions for Family Members
  • Adjustment of Status
  • Citizenship
  • Asylum
  • Temporary Protected Status
  • Renewing Work Permits

There may be a small fee for services, depending on a client's ability to pay. Many of Maxwell Street's volunteer attorneys and staff are bilingual, so the program offers legal assistance in English and Spanish. Telephone interpretation is available for other languages.

Please visit the Maxwell Street Legal Clinic home page for more information, to see current news and events, and to get answers to your questions.
