Q: How can I get in touch with your office?
A: The best way to contact us is by phone. If someone does not answer, please leave a message and we will return your call.
Q: When will I be able to meet with an attorney?

Q: Did Congress pass an amnesty?
Q: Is there a fee for your services?
A: No.There is no fee to have an initial consultation with one of MSLC's attorneys or caseworkers. If we are able to accept your case, we may charge a minimal fee for our services. The amount of our fees will vary depending on the type of service provided. No one will be denied services for the inability to pay.
Q: What is required for me to become a US Citizen?

Q: Do you have any connection to Maxwell House?
A: No. Maxwell House is a coffee company. We are a legal clinic. We like their catchy jingle, though.

CITIZENSHIP WORKSHOPS
Maxwell Street Legal Clinic holds seasonal Citizenship Workshops to help eligible Lawful Permanent Residents with the application process for becoming naturalized U.S. citizens.

Registration is required.
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service charges an application fee of $675 per person. This includes the $80 biometric fee required for all applicants under age 75.
For some people of low-income receiving disability payments or SSI, a fee waiver may be available.
(**Note: The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service requires that 2 standard passport-style (2x2 inch) photos be submitted along with the application. For an added fee of $15.00, we will be providing this optional service. Otherwise, the applicant must being their own photos to the workshop.)
